Jodi Smith, CEO and Founder of Hot Property Cape Town, is a Principal Agent with an NQF5 qualification. Through her company, Hot Prop CT Pty Ltd, she is contracted exclusively to Hardie Property, holding sole agency rights for the Atlantic Seaboard. Hardie Property is a boutique agency specialising in luxury and investment residential property, and Jodi represents their brand across one of Cape Town’s most sought-after markets.
Her career began in the film industry as an A-list celebrity chaperone, stylist and stunt driver, before transitioning into real estate where her BA Degree in Digital Marketing became a cornerstone of her success. Jodi’s marketing approach blends technology, AI and creativity to deliver exceptional results for both buyers and sellers.
Her regular travels, both locally and internationally, keep her attuned to global property trends and buyer expectations, allowing her to position properties strategically for the right audiences.
As one half of Team Hot Prop, Jodi focuses on selling entire boutique apartment blocks, penthouses, individual apartments, luxury homes and high-yield investments, as well as discreet off-market sales for high-profile clients. Monica Kruger
Rental and Sales Specialist
Monica Kruger is a seasoned real estate professional with over 40 years of experience spanning legal, construction, development, marketing, hospitality and high-end property sales and rentals. Through Hot Prop CT Pty Ltd, Monica works alongside her daughter Jodi Smith under contract to Hardie Property, holding sole agency for the Atlantic Seaboard.
Her career includes senior roles such as managing Belmont Square Conference Centre for the Master Builder’s Association and serving as Head of Marketing for Boschendal Wine Estate. Over the past two decades, she has focused on selling, leasing and managing luxury properties, building a loyal client base that values her integrity, market knowledge and ability to deliver results.
As part of Team Hot Prop, Monica specialises in selling entire boutique apartment blocks, penthouses, individual apartments, luxury coastal homes and investment properties along the Atlantic Seaboard and beyond. While sales dominate her portfolio, she also maintains a strong rental management division, providing consistent returns for investor clients.
In 2023, Monica and Jodi joined Hardie Property, continuing to work at the forefront of Cape Town’s luxury property market as two of the city’s top agents.
